Order of levels for quantitative attributes

Post by Fatoumata »

Dear moderators,

Is there a particular order for the presentation of the levels of quantitative attributes, please ?

For instance, I have a price variable coded like this:
b7[(n , -0.00007, 0.00003)]*P[13000,10000,7000,5000,2500]

Is it wrong to write like this ?

Thank you in advance !

No, there is no particular order for listing quantitative/numerical attributes. So your list is fine.
Only for qualitative/categorical variables where one needs to know the reference level and where parameters are estimated for each level, the order is important.
