D-efficient design dominant alternatives?

Dear all,
I've generated the following efficient design. I don't know the priors but I know the sign so I put a small number as priors:

Design
;alts=SQ, alt2, alt3
;rows=10
;eff=(mnl,d)
;model:
U(SQ) = b1[-0.0001] * TAX[109] + b2[0.0001] * PROD[60] + b3[0.0001] * PER[100] + b4[0.0001] * CHIL[100 ...

Problem with efficient design

I am generating an efficient design to conduct a pilot study. As the signs are partly known, I've used an efficient design with small positive/negative values.
The problem is that Ngene is running since Monday, and after 4 days it's still running. However, if I click on the last iteration, I get my ...

Warning: Unhandled exception has occurred

Hi all,
I am starting to use Ngene for the first time. First, I am trying to generating full factorial design. I have two alternatives with 4 attributes. All attributes have 4 levels, except one (5 levels). When I run, I can't open the design (I get the message "An unhandled exception has occured ...

Choice task with two "fixed" alternatives

Hi all,
I'm quite new to choice experiments, that's the reason for my question.
I am designing a choice experiment, and my idea is to include 3 alternatives (one is the status quo) in each choice task.
I was thinking if it make sense to do in this way: one alternative is the status quo, one ...

Levels of attributes vs. status quo

Dear all,
I am new with choice experiments so probably my question will sound silly but I have this doubt.
I have noticed that, when a status quo is included in a choice experiments, the levels of the attributes of the alternatives (so NOT the status quo) are in most cases either all greater or all ...
