OOD optimality in efficient design

Post by wxy008 »

Dear Michiel,

Sometime when I run efficient design, I get 0% of D optimality. Do you think the D optimality is important in efficient design? Does 0% of D optimality mean bad design?

Thanks,

Wei

If you are not generating an optimal orthogonal design (OOD) using ;orth = ood then you can ignore the D-optimality percentage since this is a specific measure for OOD. If it is 0% it simply means that it does not satisfy the requirements for optimal orthogonal designs, for example the design is not sequential orthogonal and the design does not have minimum overlap. I never look at D-optimality.
