MNL model and RPL Model

Post by nitanan »

Dear, team mates,

My question is isit acceptable to have a model without ASC? for CLM and MNL ?.. I have seen some thesis that have included asc, while some do not

In my case upon including the ASC in both CLM and RPL model i noticed a negative coefficient for ASC but significant. Hence is this justifiable ?...

Would highly appreciate to hear from you guys!!!

Unlabelled alternatives (e.g. Flight A, Flight B) typically have no constants, while for labelled alternatives (e.g. Qantas, Easyjet) you include constants. The constants represent the utility value attached to the label. If there is no label then a constant can only mean to account for left-to-right reading bias, otherwise I would leave it out.
