Ngene into Qualtrics

Postby ASAL2433 » Wed Apr 23, 2025 11:16 pm

Hi,

I have an Ngene design which I need to get into Qualtrics. I usually do it manually, but I was wondering if anyone has any R script to format it into Qualtrics requirements, and then into html script? Or if there are other non-manual ways of doing it?

Thanks,
Amber

It depends on whether you have the Choice Based Conjoint (CBC) module of Qualtrics or not. If you have the module, I believe you simply import a spreadsheet with the Ngene design (after possible relabelling of the levels). If you do not have the module, I am not sure how best to do it, but there are two sources that explain how to do it:

Weber, S. (2021) A step-by-step procedure to implement discrete choice experiments in Qualtrics. Social Science Computer Review, 39(5), 1–19.

Schatzmann, T., Molloy, J., Axhausen, K.W. (2024) Implementing web-based discrete choice experiments in transportation. Transportation Research Procedia, 76, 586-595.
