Re: Best-Worst Design Syntax Problem

dear all,
I have the same problem with syntax when I want to créate a best-worst design. Actually the main reason I bought both Ngene and choice experiment book by hensher was to create a best-worst design. Actually, How the autor used Ngene or put the codes when they did not work?
Therefore, I ...

When beta coefficient is more than 1 and dummy coded

Hi, in the results of pilot study, a coefficient was more than 1 (1.48). Hence , could you put 1 instead 1.48 in the bayesian design? Is it correct? I think that 1.47 is too high. Moreover, if i forget to identify that the attributes with only two leves are dummy coded, what are the implications in ...

the more large sample size the more prior not significat

Dear all
I did today my second pilot and the resuls are totally opposite with the first pilot. Since I believe that there is high hetergeneity inthe sampl, I pulled the data and estimating a MNL or RPL most of coefficient are not significant. Moreover the D error increased rispect to previous ...

Re: 2 pilot, with insignificant prior

Dear Michiel, thanks for your reply. I have the results, but I think that there is somenting strange. Even if the S estimate is quite good, in my efficent design I have a duplicade cards (cards9 and cards 11), as below. I am not sure now what I have to do. Could I drop one of cards? Can I estimate ...

Re: 2 pilot, with insignificant prior

Dear all, I wrote because I tried to use efficient design. In my first pilot, the results were quite bad. Before I used a choice set of 12 cards following this code:
Design
;alts = alt1, alt2
;rows = 12
;orth = sim
;model:
U(alt1) = b1 * PRICE[0,1,2,3] + b2 * FAT [0,1] + b3 * SALT [0,1] + b4 ...

Re: optimal design with 8 choice..is it possible?

Dear Michiel Bliemer, thank you for your reply.
Actually, I'm working on a design to carry out a pilot survey. Then, I'm going to use the estimates from the data of the pilot survey as priors to construct an efficient design. So, my questions are:1) If I perform a design using the codes below, can I ...

optimal design with 8 choice..is it possible?

Dear all
I write in this forum because I have some doubt about the "ood" code.
My design consists of 3 attributes. The first one is the price with 4 levels, the second and the third attributes are dummy codes. Since I am also interested in the interaction beetween the second and the third ...
