Re: Patient profile
Thank you, Michiel, for the information regarding the MNL properties and probabilities.
I assume these probabilities (the first 10 of the 72 below) are the chance of respondents choosing drug or no drug for each choice set?
MNL probabilities
Choice drug nodrug
1 0.871588 0.128412
2 0.942534 0 ...

Re: Patient profile
Dear, Michiel,
I hope you're staying safe, sane and healthy. Thank you so much for your input and extensive response very late on Friday night :)
I anticipate that medical oncologists preference will be to select drug versus no drug.
As such, the AScB value is - 0.3. I understood this meant that ...

Re: Patient profile
Dear Michiel,
Thank you for your prompt response.
As age is an attribute with levels, I assume there's no way to have a continuous level?
Therefore as you stated are my options either more levels [25, 35, 45, 55, 65, 75], or categories i.e. 18-39 years = 0, 40-59 years = 1, 60+ years = 2 [0,1,2 ...

Re: Patient profile
Dear Michiel,
Thank you so much for your patience and assistance. I've revised my Ngene syntax in line with our conversations.
I had one question about age as an attribute. I assume there are 2 ways to managing attribute levels,
1. Categorical level, i.e. 18-39 years = 0, 40-59 years = 1, 60 ...

Re: Patient profile
Hi Michiel,
Thank you for your response regarding my clinician DCE design.
I'm still struggling to fix the variables age and comorbidities across both alternatives (drug v no drug), and the D error is still tens of thousands!

Patient profile
Dear Michiel
I'm currently finalising my clinician DCE. Alternatives are drug treatment v no drug treatment, containing 8 attributes, of 2-3 levels each.
I want to set 2 of the attributes (patient age and presence of comorbidities) as part of a patient profile so they need to be the same across ...

Importing Ngene design into Qualtrics
Hi Michiel
I've now completed my DCE design in Ngene and understand I can import this design into Qualtrics.
I completed the DCA course at USYD in 2019. My notes suggest that you can recode data from Ngene to Excel and then import it into Qualtrics. Are you able to provide more detail on how to do ...
