WTP for interaction terms
Hi Experts,
I have a question about WTP for interaction terms. Suppose my function is:
V=a1 (constant1)+a2 (constant2)+a3 (attribute A)+a4 (attribute B)+a5 (price attribute)+a6 (cancer×attribute A)+a7 (cancer×attribute A)
a6 and a7 are coefficients of interaction terms between cancer indicator ...

Relative importance of continuous variables
Hi Experts,
I have a question about model analysis. My choice experiments consist of three alternatives, two are unlabeled (A and B) and one is respondents' current status. All attributes were numerical but coded as dummy when using Ngene, to account for non-linearity. However, when doing analysis ...

Re: Interaction Term in nonlinear model
Thanks for the confirmation, Michiel. Ai, C. and Norton, E. (2003) said the sign of interaction term and its marginal effect are not easy to calculate. May be I got the wrong understanding.

Interaction Term in nonlinear model
Dear Experts,
I have a choice experiment data including the population of cancer and non-cancer. I want to compare whether preferences for attributes differ between cancer and non-cancer groups. My first thought is to generate interaction terms between cancer indicator and attributes. According to ...

Reference alternative or current level alternative
Hi Experts:
Hope you are well in such unsettling time.
I have tow designs for my study. The first one is about 'quasi' pivot. I created segment design for two groups, the employed and the unemployed. The attributes pivot around the reference levels. However, I did not use pivot design, as I have ...

Pivot design with condition
Hi Experts:
I am now trying homogeneous pivot design. I will have around 200 participants, around 50 are employed and 150 unemployed. Therefore, I have two segments, employed and unemployed. I have a reference for each group. The code is shown at the bottom.
1. Although all the attributes are ...
