Dear NGENE team
After collecting information from my pilot, I tried inserting priors into my D-efficient MNL design but NGENE seems to be having trouble finding a design
I included coefficients that were statistically significant and left the rest as 0
what do you suggest I do?
thanks for your help ...

Sample size for hybrid recruitment (online vs. offline)
hi NGENE team,
I created a D-efficient MNL design for my DCE. We are planning to launch an online and offline version of this for 500 participants. The rationale behind having an offline version is to capture non-tech savvy individuals.
How do I determine what proportion of the sample population ...

Re: Pilot experimental design - Orthogonal design useful?
Dear Michiel
Thanks for your prompt and very helpful answer.
A couple of follow up questions
1) I tried to run my code below adding the *, but it comes up with this error.
A valid initial random design could not be generated after approximately 10 seconds. In this time, of the 206199 attempts ...

Pilot experimental design - Orthogonal design useful?
hi,
If there is no information to inform a prior for a d-efficient design, is there any advantage of creating an orthogonal design for the pilot and then using those priors to inform the d-efficient design for the main study?
From reading this forum, it seems most are using d-efficient design with ...
