Dear all

I am a novice in learning Ngene. Please forgive me if the question I raised may be a little simple, I am doing research on physicians' preference for generic drugs.

There are no ...

Re: Prior - Only know the sign (DCE newbie)

If you only know the sign of the priors, but have no idea (not even a guess) about the actual value, you can either choose a small value very close to zero (e.g. 0.001 or -0.001) or use Bayesian priors (e.g. (u,-0.3,0) for a negative prior). The sign of the prior is important as it enables Ngene to ...

Re: Coding Ngene

Pivot designs (p.146) are not necessary in this case. The error message results because priors and attributes are configured at the first place they appear - later references to the same prior or attribute have to be specified in the same way (same prior values, same attributes, etc). So, I have ...

Re: Strange design output for what should be straightforward...

Hi Ben,

Strange indeed. I am looking into this closely, but in the meantime you could just add another superfluous attribute. The problem does not appear in this case, and the extra column can just be ignored - all other attributes will be orthogonal. See the syntax below.

Cheers,
