Dear all,
We are finalizing the design for an unlabelled Discrete Choice Experiment and would appreciate your expert opinion on interpreting the results due to a design constraint.
Attributes and Levels
Our design includes two key attributes:

Re: Labeled vs unlabeled experimental design
I think that you mix up parameters and attributes. The price attribute can have different levels across alternatives, and interactions are not b1*b2 but rather x1*x2.
Dear Professor,
Thank so much in advance for your answer and sorry for the mistake since the interactions are between attributes ...

Labeled vs unlabeled experimental design
Labeled vs unlabeled
Hi Ngene community,
I am dealing with an experimental design related with two very different categories of cattle products (feed-iberian ham vs acorn-iberian ham). Consumers are used to choosing one of the two alternatives just due to the noticeable gap in quality and of course ...

Re: Labelled design - How to proceed?
Dear Ngene users and Professor Bliemer,
I am getting the following warning:
"Warning: 177147 Gauss draws were created. The search may be very slow, and if this number is very high, the results may be unpredictable. You may wish to reduce the abscissa(s), or the number of Bayesian priors."
With this ...

Re: Labelled design - How to proceed?
Dear Professor Bliemer and Ngene users:
Thank you again for your solution.
1) From you answer I infer that although I only need attribute level balance for the “b3” parameter within each block and not for the rest of parameters, that cannot be specified and there must be attribute level balance for ...

Re: Labelled design - How to proceed?
Dear Professor Bliemer and Ngene users:
Thank you again for your instructive answer as usual. As my first step is related to launching the face to face version of the choice experiment where I will not be able to test any treatment I will put off the questions about the on-line design until I have ...

Thank you so much again for your enlightening answer. Nonetheless, I did not grasp exactly what you mean regarding different scenarios. In this regard, maybe I was not explicit enough, so I am going to set an example. Imagine that we are looking for uncovering the ...

I am almost about to launching the research to get the pilot sample and estimate with a better degree of reliability the priors. Nonetheless, I would like to know if you identify something erroneous in the syntax. On the other hand, as probably I will use ...

Re: Unlabelled choice experiment customization
Dear Professor Bliemer and NGENE users,
Thank you so much for your answers… To be honest it is not always so easy to get illuminating advising in other forums as it is here, and I appreciate that. I would like to share with the NGENE community a clarification and a couple of new general questions ...

Unlabelled choice experiment customization
Dear Professor Bliemer and Ngene users:
I am dealing with an unlabelled design and I have everything more or less clear but some customisation that I have included. This is the syntax for the pilot (the priors were setting following in some way the illuminating paper of Professor Bliemer -On ...
