Re: Is it possible to have zero priors in an efficient desig

Dear Michiel Bliemer,
Thank you so much for your recommendation. I try to test d-error between two syntaxes:
The first syntax is as follows,
Design
;alts = alt1*, alt2*, optout
;rows = 24
;block = 2
;eff = (mnl, d)
;model:
U(alt1) = b1.dummy[0|0|0|0] * loc[1,2,3,4,0]
+ b2.dummy[0|0] * sup[1,2,0 ...

Is it possible to have zero priors in an efficient design?

Dear Michiel Bliemer,
We want to create choice sets for DCE. We only knew the prior cost from theory, so we expected a negative sign with a small value. We do not know the prior value for the other attributes. Therefore, my syntax is as follows:, Design
;alts = alt1, alt2, alt3
;rows = 12
;eff ...

Could I improve my design more?

Dear Michiel Blimer,
I have run the syntax for around 8 hours by Design
;alts=alt1*,alt2*,alt3
;rows=24
;block=2
;eff=(mnl,d,mean)
; con
;model:
U(alt1)=b0[(n,1.007,0.563)]+b1.dummy [ (n,0.161,0.263) | (n,0.032,0.299)|(n,-0.002,0.317)|(n,0.184,0.228)|(n,-0.206,0.292)] * locate[5,4,3,2,1,0]+b2.dummy ...

Re: How to fix each of attribute level?

Dear Prof.Michiel Bliemer,
Thank you so much. However, the levels were not balanced. How I fix this problem?

Sincerely yours,
Sukunta

How to fix each of attribute level?

Dear Prof.Michiel Bliemer,
This is the syntax of the fixed effect design Design
;alts=alt1*,alt2*,alt3
;rows=24
;block=2
;eff=(mnl,d)
; con
;model:
U(alt1)=b0[0.00001]+b1.dummy [0.000004|0.000003|0.000002|0.000001|0.000001] * locate[5,4,3,2,1,0]+b2.dummy[0.000002|0.000001|0.000001] * pretest[3,2,1 ...

Re: How to determine the sample size by Ngene?

Dear Prof Bliemer,
Thank you so much for your recommendation. Let me tell you that I have determined nearly zero prior for the new syntax. In addition, the priors were assumed the different values from a qualitative study as follows Design
;alts=alt1*,alt2*,alt3
;rows=24
;block=2
;eff=(mnl,d)
; con ...

How to determine the sample size by Ngene?

Dear Prof. Blimier,
I have tried to generate the choice set for a pilot study via efficient design. Thus, the prior was determined by the expected sign and value. First, I have determined Design
;alts=alt1*,alt2*,alt3
;rows=24
;block=2
;eff=(mnl,d)
; con
;model:
U(alt1)=b0[0.001]+b1.dummy [0.0004|0 ...
